Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing major civil infrastructure projects.
• Proven leadership experience, including developing teams.
• Knowledge of procurement, contract administration, project governance and financial management.
• Experience across roads, water, wastewater, drainage or community facilities.
• Ability to manage consultants, contractors and multiple project stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant qualifications in Engineering or Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of project delivery professionals.
• Overseeing the planning, procurement, construction and delivery of major capital works projects.
• Driving improvements in project governance, reporting, risk management and delivery frameworks.
• Managing project budgets, contracts, consultants and external delivery partners.
• Working closely with internal asset owners to prioritise projects and ensure delivery readiness.
• Providing strategic advice on capital works planning, project performance and infrastructure investment.
• Building a collaborative, accountable and high-performing project delivery culture.
