Job summary

Strathfield Council is seeking a motivated Project Manager to lead a portfolio of capital works and infrastructure projects. You will oversee delivery from planning to handover, coordinating with internal teams, consultants and contractors to ensure safety, quality and value for money.

The role requires a tertiary qualification in project management, strong leadership, and extensive experience in capital works.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in project management or related degree.
• Current NSW Class C Driver Licence.
• Proven experience delivering Capital Works infrastructure projects.
• Strong time management, prioritisation and planning abilities.
• Knowledge of Australian standards, codes and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital works projects from planning through to handover.
• Manage scope, budgets, programs and risks for delivery.
• Coordinate procurement and tender processes; manage consultants and contracts.
• Build relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders and funding bodies.
• Oversee project funding and grants, including monitoring and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with legislative, safety and Council requirements.
