Job summary

Public Transport Authority in Western Australia seeks an experienced information management professional to lead complex records governance and digitisation initiatives across the organisation.

You will apply EDRMS expertise to improve metadata, retention, and disposal practices, provide training, and guide stakeholders toward best practice while ensuring accuracy, compliance and value from the PTA's information assets.

In this role, you'll become a key partner to teams across the Public Transport Authority, helping them navigate complex records and information management challenges. With your experience inEDRMS, strong understanding of retention and disposal requirements, and natural ability to solve problems, you'll provide practical solutions that improve the way information is managed and used. Whether you're resolving complex records issues, improving metadata quality, supporting digitisation projects, or guiding stakeholders towards best practice, you'll play an important role in ensuring our information remains accurate, compliant, and fit for purpose.

About You!

To excel in this role, you should possess:

Substantial experience in records/information management practices, specifically in complex classification, indexing and disposal of records.

Substantial knowledge of relevantinformation managementlegislation.

Demonstrated verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to apply these skills to all levels, particularly in providing assistance,trainingand feedback.

Demonstrated good planning and organisational skills including well developed prioritisation skills.

There is one permanent full-time position available for immediate commencement. A part-time arrangement may be considered for the right applicant. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process may be used to fill similar vacancies both fixed term and permanent that may arise within the next 12 months.

To be eligible to work permanently at the PTA you must be either an Australian Citizen, have Permanent Residency status or hold a current visa with permanent working rights in Australia.
