Hillebrand Gori, a Company Of DHL Global Forwarding, is seeking an Import Operator for our Matraville office in Sydney. The role sits in the Operations team and manages import shipments from order creation to final delivery, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The senior position requires at least five years of freight forwarding experience with strong import operations knowledge; export knowledge is a plus.

Qualificações

• Minimum five years of freight forwarding experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in import operations for a freight forwarder.
• Export operations knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues.

Responsabilidades

• Manage import shipments from order creation through customs clearance and final delivery.
• Coordinate with customers, overseas offices and agents, suppliers, shipping lines, brokers, transport providers, warehouses and depots.
• Monitor shipments and follow up on delays, transshipments and issues.
• Ensure documentation is complete and compliant with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate customs clearance and delivery arrangements for urgent shipments.
• Maintain accurate shipment information in FLOW and daily diary records.
