Qualifications

• 8+ years designing secondary systems for high-voltage transmission substations.
• Electrical Engineering degree recognized by The Washington Accord.
• RP EV or eligible to obtain from Victorian authority.
• Experience producing, reviewing and checking detailed secondary design outputs.
• Strong end-to-end experience delivering substation projects from concept to detailed design.
• Extensive knowledge of electricity transmission, terminal station and substation engineering, with proficiency in secondary design, construction, operation and asset management.
• Understanding of project lifecycles, governance, safety-in-design, and engineering reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and coordination of secondary design packages with quality, schedule and budget.
• Provide advanced technical, commercial and asset management input for project development and delivery.
• Shape technical direction by identifying options, risks and recommendations within delegated authority.
• Lead technical reviews, design reviews and engineering workshops.
• Resolve complex engineering issues and provide actionable recommendations.
• Promote consistency of engineering practices across projects.
• Coach and mentor Engineers and Senior Engineers to develop capability.
