Enemix, in collaboration with a leading Australian consultancy, seeks a Senior/Lead Secondary Systems Engineer to own the design of HV substations, SCADA, metering, and communications across diverse live projects.

Based in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane, this hybrid role offers direct leadership, client engagement with utilities and NSPs, mentorship of junior engineers, and a chance to shape the consultancy's growing secondary engineering function for energy and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in secondary systems design for transmission and distribution.
• Proven ability to engage with clients and NSPs and manage stakeholders.
• Leadership experience at senior/lead level with mentoring mindset.
• Experience in renewable energy and hybrid systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of secondary systems for HV substations and grid connections.
• Collaborate with clients, utilities and NSPs to meet project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Contribute to innovative solutions for renewable energy projects.
