Job summary

Enemix is collaborating with a leading Australian consultancy to appoint a Senior/Lead Secondary Systems Engineer. You will own the design and delivery of secondary systems for HV substations, engaging utilities and NSPs to drive project outcomes.

You will operate in a hybrid model with flexible location options across Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, contributing to energy and infrastructure projects while mentoring junior engineers and shaping the function within a growing team.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in secondary systems design within transmission and distribution networks.
• Proven ability to engage directly with clients and NSPs, demonstrating strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in leading teams and mentoring junior engineers as the project grows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of secondary systems for HV substations and grid connection projects.
• Collaborate with clients, utilities, and NSPs to ensure project requirements are met.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers within the team.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all designs and implementations.
• Contribute to innovative solutions for renewable energy and hybrid systems.
