Saunders is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our Sydney team, reporting to the General Manager – SHEQ. You will provide corporate HSE support, drive safe delivery of critical infrastructure projects, and strengthen safety culture across the business.

You will develop and implement best-practice HSE systems, support Integrated Management System usage, and lead continual improvement and legal compliance in high-risk environments.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in health and safety or environment.
• At least eight years’ experience in a high-risk work environment (construction, oil and gas, or related).
• Incident investigation certification (e.g., ICAM, TapRooT).
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist the GM – SHEQ in managing workplace health, safety and environmental matters.
• Develop HSE training programs and toolbox talks; track completion and statistics.
• Lead incident investigations and analyse trends to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare HSE reports and share performance metrics across the organisation.
• Provide practical HSE advice and coaching to workers and project teams.
• Support maintenance of certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, FSC).
