Job summary

GR Engineering Services Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Health, Safety and Training Advisor to join our growing team and drive positive safety outcomes across Australia.

You will lead the development of HSE systems, deliver practical training on site, monitor metrics, and provide remote support from the office to ensure safe project delivery while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining, construction or project environment.
• WHS auditing, inspections, and assurance experience.
• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent).
• Certificate IV TAE.
• Knowledge of WHS legislation and safety systems.
• ICAM investigation training.
• Construction White Card.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Current National Police Clearance.
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence positive safety outcomes.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• A positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to learn and continuously improve.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of HSE system documentation, including standards, procedures, forms and templates
• Providing regular analysis and reporting of metrics to the business to communicate progress against HSET plans and key objectives
• Provide training and mentoring on site
• Provide remote support when based in the office
