Job summary

Arnold Group is seeking a HSE Advisor for a Sydney-based role with hybrid working and site travel. You will support safety on major construction/infrastructure projects, conducting inspections, reviewing risk assessments and liaising with project teams to drive safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' HSE experience in construction, infrastructure or similar industries.
• Certificate IV (min.) or Diploma in WHS.
• Sound knowledge of Australian WHS legislation.
• Experience with contractor management, audits and incident investigations.
• ICAM or equivalent investigation training.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Current White Card and driver''s licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, audits and safety observations.
• Monitor contractor safety performance and compliance.
• Review risk assessments, SWMS and safety documentation.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Assist with HSE reporting, systems and continuous improvement.
• Engage with project managers, contractors and site teams.

Reporting to the Safety Manager, you will provide practical HSE support to project teams, helping maintain safe working environments, manage contractor compliance and continuously improve safety practices. This role offers a good mix of site visits, stakeholder engagement and HSE systems support.
