Job summary

Health & Safety Advisor in Sydney is sought by a progressive property development and construction company to support multiple high-end projects across North West Sydney. You will work with a respected HSE Manager to help build and mature the HSE function, providing day-to-day safety leadership on site.

This role offers the chance to contribute to a growing business and be part of a ground-up safety initiative within a dynamic Sydney market.

Qualifications

• Minimum Cert IV in WHS/OHS.
• 3+ years’ experience in an HSE role within the Class 2 / new build construction space.
• Head contractor experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of WHS/OHS legislation and Australian Standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HSE support across active construction projects.
• Build strong relationships with employees, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
• Manage and develop HSE processes and initiatives across projects.
• Assist with incident investigations, reporting and corrective actions.
• Provide guidance around HSE legislation and compliance.
• Maintain understanding of Australian Standards and applicable legislation.
• Promote a positive HSE culture across the project.
