Job summary

Vinarchy is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders within our state-of-the-art operations. Based in Berri, you will lead a small HR team and deliver commercially focused people initiatives to support performance, capability and culture outcomes.

You will handle employee relations, workforce planning, and remuneration strategies while guiding change and organisational design.

Qualifications

• Significant HR generalist experience in complex operational settings.
• Strong knowledge of employee and industrial relations and Australian employment law.
• Experience leading complex workplace matters and organisational change.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to develop and implement people strategies aligned to business objectives.
• Advise on employee relations, industrial relations and employment legislation.
• Lead complex employee matters including performance, conduct, grievances and investigations.
• Support enterprise agreement interpretation, consultation processes and union engagement.
• Drive organisational design, workforce planning and change management initiatives.
• Coach leaders to enhance capability and engagement.
• Utilise people data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Contribute to HR projects, policy development and continuous improvement.

About the Role

This is a site-based role reporting to an experienced and engaged leader and working as part of a truly global team. As the Senior HR Business Partner you will act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior leaders across our state-of-the-art operations business. Based in Berri, this role provides commercially focused people leadership that supports business performance, workforce capability and culture outcomes.

Managing a small HR team, you will support the delivery of people initiatives that build engagement, strengthen leadership capability and support business outcomes across workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, and remuneration and benefits.

Your Key Accountabilities

• Partner with leaders to develop and implement people strategies aligned to business objectives
• Provide expert advice on employee relations, industrial relations and employment legislation
• Lead complex employee matters including performance, conduct, grievance and workplace investigations
• Support enterprise agreement interpretation, consultation processes and union engagement
• Drive organisational design, workforce planning and change management initiatives
• Coach and develop leaders to enhance capability, performance and employee engagement
• Use people data and insights to identify trends and recommend business improvements
• Contribute to HR projects, policy development and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation

What You'll Bring

• Significant HR generalist experience in a complex operational, manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, industrial relations and Australian employment legislation
• Experience managing complex workplace matters and supporting organisational change
• Demonstrated ability to influence, coach and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate people insights into practical outcomes
• Effective negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employment Relations or a related discipline
