Job summary

Vinarchy is seeking an organized Operational Excellence Support to join our Commercial team in Sydney. You will drive operational excellence, improve processes, and provide reporting and insights to enable better business decisions across Retail, On Premise, E-Retail and Field Sales.

With 1–2 years in data analysis or sales operations in FMCG, you will manage master data, CRM administration, and reporting, contributing to sales effectiveness and performance dashboards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in data analysis or sales operations in Alcohol or FMCG.
• Strong analytical mindset and a passion for data management and process improvement.
• Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• High proficiency in Excel and Power BI.

About the Role

We're looking for an organised and proactive Operational Excellence Support professional to join our Commercial team in Sydney.

This role plays a critical part in supporting our Sales teams by driving operational excellence, improving processes and providing reporting and analytical insights that enable better business decisions.

Working closely with teams across Retail, On Premise, E-Retail and Field Sales, you'll help improve customer engagement, sales effectiveness and operational performance through data, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities include:

Master Data Support

• Maintain and improve data accuracy and integrity by supporting data governance processes.
• Support the cleaning and alignment of Customer Profiling and Sales Channel Data.
• Manage and maintain customer and product data mapping (e.g., Wholesaler customer data, Banner mapping by SKUs).
• Conduct reviews of data errors and provide recommendations for corrections.
• Help support the data upload and processing of customer data, sales, and product information

CRM and Data Management

• Assist with the administration of CRM systems, including uploading customer data, user creation, and resolving system issues.
• Help facilitate tracking of key sales activities and ensure data is up to date within the CRM.
• Support the team in identifying key data sources and assisting in defining metrics.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and analysis to support the Sales and Operations teams.

Reporting and Insights

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of key reports for the Sales teams to support strategic decision-making and sales performance.
• Help analyze sales data and identify trends or opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in maintaining and updating performance dashboards to track key metrics such as CRM results, volume, and distribution.
• Contribute to the creation of regular activity and performance reports for the sales leadership team.

General Support

• Provide administrative support to the Operations Excellence team as needed, including retail and on-premise sales execution communication, purchase orders etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and finance, to help resolve data-related issues and improve processes.
  

What You'll Bring:

• 1-2 years of experience in a data analysis or sales operations support role within an Alcohol or FMCG business
• Strong analytical mindset, technical skills, and a passion for data management and process improvement
• A degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
• High proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools such as PowerBI
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., StayInFront, Salesforce) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

The salary band for this position is: $78,000 - $83,000 + super
