Job summary

Vinarchy, a global wine company, seeks an Insurance & Claims Manager to lead the worldwide insurance program and claims governance, reporting to the Risk & Sustainability Director. You will manage renewals, oversee claims performance, and strengthen governance across our global operations.

You'll lead a small team, partner with insurers and internal stakeholders, drive risk engineering, and provide insights to senior leaders to support resilience and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience managing corporate insurance programs and renewals.
• Knowledge of property, business interruption, liability and workers compensation.
• Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external insurers.

Responsibilities

• Lead Vinarchy's global insurance program, including renewals and broker relationships.
• Oversee insurance and workers compensation claims governance and performance.
• Develop insurance strategies aligned to business and risk management objectives.
• Partner with stakeholders and providers to manage risk and drive outcomes.
• Drive risk engineering, loss prevention and continuous improvement initiatives.

About the Role

Reporting to the Risk & Sustainability Director, the Insurance & Claims Manager is responsible for leading Vinarchy's global insurance program, claims governance framework and workers compensation oversight. This role is central to protecting the business, ensuring effective risk management and supporting operational resilience across our global operations.

Leading a small team, you'll partner with stakeholders across the business to manage insurance renewals, oversee claims performance, strengthen governance and provide insights that support strategic decision-making. This is an opportunity to influence at a global level while building a best-practice insurance and claims function.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead Vinarchy's global insurance program, including renewals and broker relationships.
• Oversee insurance and workers compensation claims governance and performance.
• Develop insurance strategies aligned to business and risk management objectives.
• Partner with internal stakeholders, insurers and external providers to manage risk and drive outcomes.
• Drive risk engineering, loss prevention and continuous improvement initiatives. [JD -

What You'll Bring:

• Experience managing complex corporate insurance program and claims portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of insurance renewals, policy structures and claims management.
• Experience across property, business interruption, liability and workers compensation insurance.
• Strong commercial judgement and a practical approach to risk management.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience leading teams and driving continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior leaders.
