The Ministry of Health in NSW is seeking a Senior Project Officer to lead policy development, governance and human capital management system improvements across health agencies. You will work with senior leaders to identify requirements, manage risks and drive programs that strengthen workforce policy and attraction, recruitment and retention across NSW Health.

You will contribute to governance frameworks, publish clear advice and collaborate with public health organisations to ensure alignment

Qualifications

• Experience implementing Human Capital Management systems in a complex, multidisciplinary environment.
• Translate policy and business requirements into effective technology solutions.
• Strong project management, planning, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
• Advanced written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to HCM system improvements through governance, requirements gathering, design, testing and evaluation.
• Support governance by assessing changes, preparing advice, and enabling informed decisions.
• Manage policy and program development, reviews and evaluations for attraction, recruitment and retention.
• Prepare reports, briefs, policies and strategic advice for senior leaders.
• Engage public health organisations and government agencies to support governance and implementation.
• Lead research, impact assessment and cost-benefit analysis to inform policy and system decisions.
