IGroup Consulting in Epping, Victoria, seeks an experienced Hardware Technician for a full-time role in Australia. The position offers an annual salary of $80,000-$85,000 plus superannuation, based in Epping, Victoria.

You will diagnose hardware and software issues, configure servers, install software, set up networks, and perform preventive maintenance in enterprise environments. A corporate-oriented mindset and strong technical skills are essential.

Qualifications

4+ years as a hardware technician in a corporate setting.
Experience configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting dedicated server hardware.
Knowledge of BIOS/UEFI configuration and firmware upgrades.
Experience with structured cabling (Cat6/6a) and rack-mounted hardware.
Strong analytical skills and ability to learn new software/hardware.

Responsibilities

Diagnosing hardware and software issues to provide effective solutions.
Responding to user inquiries and resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
Installing and configuring software applications and operating systems.
Setting up and maintaining computer networks, including routers and switches.
Repairing and replacing peripheral equipment as needed.
Performing preventive maintenance on computer hardware.
Collaborating with vendors to source hardware and software solutions.
Documenting configurations, changes, and maintenance activities.
