Job summary

Unisys is seeking a Senior Technical Field Engineer (Hardware) to perform on-site repair and maintenance of enterprise hardware across the Mackay region in Queensland, Australia. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with servers, storage, desktops, and networking gear, plus strong communication and documentation skills. Travel within the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in computer hardware repair, field services, desktop support, or technical support environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair enterprise hardware onsite.
• Troubleshoot and fault-find across servers, storage, and desktops.
• Coordinate with customers to manage multiple on-site service requests.
• Document work performed and update service records.
• Travel within Mackay region with valid Australian Driver's License.
