Job summary

Vena Group Australia is seeking a Senior Engineer, Grid Connection to lead power system modelling and grid connection studies across project lifecycles. You will drive GPS compliance, engage with NSPs, AEMO and EPCs, and mentor junior engineers.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, regulatory understanding of NER rules, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver grid-connected renewable projects in Australia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Power Systems) required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in grid connection or related field.
• Proficiency with PowerFactory, PSCAD and PSS/E for studies.

Responsibilities

• Lead power system modelling and grid connection studies through all project stages.
• Develop and maintain grid modelling automation and software tools.
• Prepare/review PSS®E, PSCAD and PowerFactory studies for GPS, AEMO registration.
