Job summary

Whizdom invites three Senior Full Stack Software Engineers to join a nationwide government technology team in Canberra. You will tackle complex enterprise challenges, design secure, scalable applications, and contribute across the full software development lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on API development, cloud-native engineering, DevSecOps practices and secure software development. Collaboration with stakeholders and mentoring across teams are key components of the position.

Qualifications

• Seasoned full stack software engineer with enterprise experience.
• Experience across full stack development, APIs and systems integration.
• Experience with cloud-native apps and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of secure software development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Analysing complex business and technical requirements to design solutions.
• Designing and enhancing user interfaces, APIs and system integrations.
• Developing secure, scalable and maintainable full stack applications.
• Implementing enhancements and supporting releases with testing and operations.
• Contributing to technical standards, best practices and frameworks.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex software issues.
• Participating in peer code reviews to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to meet organisational objectives.
• Mentoring teams and supporting knowledge sharing.
• Contributing to DevSecOps, automation and continuous improvement.
