Job summary
Showtime Consulting in Canberra is seeking an experienced Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, secure, and maintain cloud and on‑premises infrastructure that supports mission‑critical environments.
You will work with architecture, security, and DevSecOps teams across Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, OpenStack, VMware, and containerised platforms to deliver resilient, compliant systems for defence programs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as Infrastructure/Cloud Engineer in enterprise or defence sectors.
- Experience deploying cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, VMware, OpenStack.
- Proficient in Terraform, ARM, Bicep for IaC.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
- Strong networking knowledge: firewalls, VPNs, routing, secure architectures.
- Experience administering Linux and Windows servers.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support secure cloud and on‑premises infrastructure.
- Deploy and manage environments across major cloud and virtualization platforms.
- Build and maintain IaC solutions with Terraform, ARM, and Bicep.
- Support DevOps/DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Configure, secure, and manage Linux and Windows servers.
- Monitor performance and security posture; respond to incidents.
- Produce technical runbooks and documentation.
