Job summary

LeaseSuite Technologies Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for its Sydney-based fintech platform. You will own features end to end across the database, API, UI and deployment, with a mix of C#/.NET and React/TypeScript work.

The role emphasizes financial accuracy, testing, and rapid production releases in a small, senior team. The position is hybrid with 2 days in the office in Sydney and opportunities to work on AI-driven features such as document extraction and portfolio analysis.

Senior Full Stack Engineer - Financial Systems - Hybrid (2 days in)

LeaseSuite Technologies Pty Ltd - Sydney CBD NSW

You will join a small, senior team, building and running a commercial real estate platform. You will pick up work at the feature level and take it through database schema, API, front end, tests and production. Most weeks that means some C# and some TypeScript. Some weeks it means Terraform or a Lambda. You will own features end to end: schema, API, UI and deployment.

Key responsibilities

Design and build features across the .NET API and the React front end.

Implement financial calculations to a specification a finance stakeholder has reviewed, and defend them when questioned.

Write tests that run against a real database, not mocks.

Review other people's work, and the work our coding agents produce.

Extend the AI features: document extraction pipelines, deal analysis and the portfolio assistant.

Own your deploys. Releases go out several times a day and you will run them.

Take a turn on production triage. Alarms come to the team, not to a separate ops group.

About you

A FinTech or financial software background: banking, payments, accounting, payroll or similar. Somewhere the numbers had to be right. MUST HAVE!

Substantial commercial experience in C# and .NET, with real opinions about how an API should be structured.

Equally substantial React and TypeScript experience. This is a genuine full-stack role and both halves are weighted the same.

Comfort with relational data modelling and schema change under zero-downtime constraints.

A real testing habit. Our test suite is not decoration and we would like to keep it that way.

Shipped LLM features in production, with an understanding of how they fail.

Daily use of AI coding agents on a real codebase.

The judgement to work without a lot of process, and the discipline not to need it.
