Job summary

PRA is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to build a greenfield health‑tech SaaS platform using React, Next.js, TypeScript and Node.js. You will modernise a legacy .NET app, shape backend architecture, and integrate MSSQL on AWS RDS.

You’ll work directly with leadership to design features end to end in a flexible hybrid setup. You should have 6–8+ years of full‑stack experience, deep Node/TS/React skills, and comfort with AWS and Serverless.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years' experience building and maintaining full‑stack web apps.
• Expert-level Node, TypeScript and React across the full stack, with backend emphasis.
• Strong Next.js experience and modern frontend architecture knowledge.
• Experience integrating third‑party APIs and relational databases, especially MSSQL.
• Hands-on using AI tools to accelerate delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of a browser-based SaaS platform for Health-Tech customers.
• Modernise legacy .NET Framework components and migrate capabilities to the new platform.
• Lead backend architecture decisions: API design, server-side logic, data integrations on AWS RDS (MSSQL).
• Collaborate on AWS infrastructure using Lambda, EC2, RDS and Serverless Framework.
• Champion code quality, run code reviews, and foster an engineering culture.

About the opportunity

• A health-tech Startup/Scale up
• Building a next-generation SaaS platform set to modernise how their products are delivered, end to end!
• Tech stack centred on React, Next.js, TypeScript and Node.js and AWS (Lambda, EC2, RDS) underneath
• A genuinely greenfield build, not a maintenance role, with some legacy .NET Framework components to modernise along the way
• Report directly to the CTO.

The role

• Lead design and development of a browser-based SaaS platform for Health-Tech customers, using React, Next.js and TypeScript on the frontend and Node.js on the backend
• Own the modernisation of a legacy .NET Framework manufacturing app, migrating its capability into the new platform over time.
• Lead backend architecture decisions: API design, server-side logic, and integration with MSSQL on AWS RDS
• Collaborate on AWS infrastructure (Lambda, EC2, RDS) using the Serverless Framework
• Champion code quality, run code reviews, and help build a high-performing engineering culture

What you'll bring

• 6-8+ years' experience building and maintaining Full Stack web applications
• Expert-level Node, TypeScript and React across the full stack - ideally leaning more towards the Backend.
• Strong Next.js experience and deep knowledge of modern frontend architecture
• Confident integrating third-party APIs and working with relational databases, especially MSSQL
• Hands-on experience using AI-powered dev tools (Codex, Claude Code, Cursor or similar) to accelerate delivery
• Working knowledge of .NET (C#), including legacy .NET Framework, is a strong advantage given some remaining legacy systems.
