The role combines deep financial analysis with business involvement, covering sales, costs, capex, project performance and planning. Strong Excel and Power BI skills are required.
Knorr-Bremse is a global leader in the Rail and Commercial Vehicle industries, with more than 30,000 employees worldwide. In Australia, we work with some of the biggest names in both industries, providing the products, technology and services that help keep Australia moving.

We're looking for an experienced Senior FP&A Analyst who enjoys working closely with business leaders, understands what drives financial performance and wants to have a real influence on commercial decisions.
This is a senior finance role supporting our Rail Vehicle Systems business, with responsibility for financial planning, forecasting, performance reporting and commercial analysis.
You'll work closely with business leaders to help them understand financial performance, challenge assumptions and make informed decisions about the future.
The role offers a good balance of financial analysis and business involvement, covering everything from sales and costs through to capital expenditure, project performance and business planning.
You'll have the opportunity to become a trusted finance partner to our business leaders, helping them make sense of financial performance and plan with confidence. There's room to improve how we forecast, challenge existing approaches and have a genuine influence on the decisions that shape our rail business.
You'll be an experienced finance professional who enjoys working with the business rather than just reporting the numbers.
You're comfortable challenging assumptions, asking the right questions and explaining financial information in a way that helps others make decisions.
You'll have strong analytical skills, good commercial judgement and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders.
You'll be part of an established industry leader with the opportunity to work across a business that supports Australia's rail industry.
