Job summary

A large Australian infrastructure group is seeking a Senior FP&A analyst to own planning, forecasting and board reporting within the group. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you'll lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning, analyse operating expenditure, capital expenditure and cash flow performance, and develop integrated financial models across the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.

Qualifications

  • CA or CPA qualification required.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
  • Strong FP&A experience across budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems.
  • Three-way modelling and cashflow forecasting.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow and business performance drivers.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.

  • Deliver board and executive reporting, highlighting key drivers, risks and opportunities.
  • Extract, transform and analyse data to improve reporting quality and efficiency.
  • Partner with Commercial Finance, Corporate Finance and Treasury teams on business-critical decisions.
  • Support ongoing enhancement of reporting, controls and finance processes.

A large infrastructure business is hiring a Senior FP&A analyst for their group team. This opportunity offers the chance to take ownership of planning, forecasting and board reporting within a large Australian corporate, where long-term investment, cash flow management and financial performance are central to business success.

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you'll:

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
  • Analyse operating expenditure, capital expenditure and cash flow performance
  • Develop and maintain integrated financial models across the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
  • Deliver board and executive reporting, highlighting key drivers, risks and opportunities

About You:
