Job summary

Knorr-Bremse is seeking an IT Manager in Australia to lead a small team and own IT Service Support nationally. The role focuses on delivering reliable IT services, supporting staff across sites, and driving improvements in systems and processes.

You will work with local and global IT teams to align priorities, participate in multi‑site initiatives, and ensure initiatives meet business needs with practical solutions.

Qualifications

About the role

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll lead a team of two and take responsibility for IT Service Support nationally.

You'll manage the day-to-day delivery of IT services, support your team and work closely with people across the business to make sure they have the systems and support they need to do their jobs.

There's plenty of variety. One day you might be working with our CEO on a business initiative, the next helping someone on the factory floor resolve an issue that's holding up their work.

We're looking for someone who enjoys that environment, is comfortable getting involved and takes the initiative to improve things rather than waiting to be asked.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading and developing a team of two, ensuring they have the support and direction to do their jobs well.

Managing IT Service Support nationally, including ticket management, incident resolution and day-to-day service delivery.
