Job summary

Denmor Automotive Services in Lane Cove, Sydney, is seeking a lead/senior technician to oversee repairs, mentor apprentices, and support workshop leadership with above‑award pay and a tailored package based on experience.

The right candidate will hold a Cert 3 Light Vehicle, be an AIS examiner or willing to obtain, bring own tools, and demonstrate strong communication, license, and teamwork, with the opportunity to advance into a management role.

Qualifications

• Qualified Motor Mechanic (Cert 3 Light Vehicle).
• Authorised AIS examiner or willing to obtain.
• Own tools/tool storage.
• Enthusiastic about growing within the industry & business.
• Able to work independently and as part of the team.
• Valid Australian driver's license (not suspended).
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical repairs and service delivery.

Denmor Automotive is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our team as a lead / senior technician. You will be responsible for overseeing technical repairs, mentoring junior apprentices & workshop / management / client liaison. For the right candidate, there is ample pathway within the business to ultimately end up off the tools in a managers role.

Skills & Requirements

• Be a qualified Motor Mechanic (Cert 3 Light Vehicle)
• Be an authorised AIS examiner (or be willing to obtain asap)
• Have your own tools / tool storage etc.
• Be enthusiastic about growing within the industry & within our business
• Be able to work effectively individually & with other members of the team
• Have a valid (unsuspended) Australian driver’s licence
• Have great communication skills

If you have Auto Electrical & Air Conditioning experience that would be ideal, but If not, we can train and develop you new skills and opportunities whilst working with us.
