Job summary

Auto Masters Morayfield is seeking a skilled 2IC / Automotive Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, fault-finding and diagnostics, and a long-term career in a professional workshop.

This full-time role offers a competitive AUD 85,000–90,000 salary, weekly wage payments, paid annual and personal leave, on-site parking, modern diagnostic tools, uniforms, employee discounts and the chance to work with a respected national automotive brand.

Qualifications

• A Certificate III or higher in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
• Proven experience in vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Dependable work ethic and a positive team attitude.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, with every second Saturday morning.

Responsibilities

• Identify and diagnose vehicle faults
• Service and repair passenger vehicles
• Complete inspections and quality checks
• Maintain accurate job records
• Work closely with the Store Manager to keep the workshop running smoothly
• Mentor and support apprentices and junior technicians
• Assist customers and the front-of-house team when needed
• Keep the workshop clean and safe

Your Responsibilities

• Mentor and support apprentices and junior technicians

What You'll Need

• A Certificate III or higher in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Proven experience in vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
• A current Australian Driver's Licence
