The Cottage Balmain is seeking a full-time Restaurant Supervisor to lead the floor during service and help run the venue day to day. You'll be the person in charge when on shift, coordinating a front-of-house team of 10+ across dining room and bar.

You'll train staff on cocktails, guest service, and our steps of service, manage group bookings in The Loft and The Atrium, work with the kitchen on daily specials, and ensure smooth service flow from lunch to close.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a front-of-house team of 10+.
• Strong classic cocktail knowledge.
• Personable, proactive approach and a cool head under pressure.
• A genuine love of hospitality.
• Current NSW RSA.
• Full Australian working rights.
• SevenRooms experience is a bonus.

Responsabilités

• Lead service and ensure warm, polished hospitality.
• Manage and support a front-of-house team of 10+ across the floor and bar.
• Train staff on product knowledge, cocktails and our steps of service.
• Run group bookings and events in The Loft and The Atrium on the day.
• Work with the kitchen on daily specials, functions and service flow.
• Manage bookings and the floor in SevenRooms.
• Set the mood: music and lighting from lunch through to close.
• Open and close the venue as key holder, including cash-up and end-of-day reports.
