AECOM is seeking a Senior Fire Safety Engineer to join the Buildings & Places team in Brisbane. You will apply fire engineering principles from concept through to building occupation, leading large-scale projects and mentoring junior staff.

The role requires 5+ years of Fire Safety Engineering experience and a strong understanding of the Building Code of Australia. You will collaborate with clients, manage projects and contribute to accreditation processes in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

Formación

• 5+ years’ experience as a Fire Safety Engineer.
• Engineering qualification (preferably in Fire Engineering) with knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and Australian Fire Engineering Guidelines.
• Record of leading fire engineering projects and negotiating with approval authorities to gain acceptance of the performance-based design.
• Experience in preparing Performance Based Design Briefs, Fire Engineering Reports and Fire Engineering Strategies.

Responsabilidades

• Provide substantial technical expertise in fire engineering from first principles to leading large-scale projects through to building occupation.
• Manage projects and client relationships across markets.
• Develop performance-based fire engineering strategies for a wide range of buildings and infrastructure projects.
• Mentor team members and assist with professional accreditation where appropriate.
