Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Fire Safety Engineer to join our team across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, focused on large-scale fire engineering projects from design through to occupation. You will develop and deliver performance-based designs, reports and strategies, and apply modelling techniques for fire dynamics and evacuation, working with a supportive team.

Qualifications

Experience delivering fire safety projects in a consulting environment.
Engineering qualification with understanding of the Building Code of Australia.
Experience with performance-based design briefs and fire engineering reports.

Responsibilities

Apply and develop fire engineering expertise across large-scale projects from concept to occupation.
Lead performance-based design briefs and fire engineering reports across buildings and infrastructure.
Undertake fire engineering analysis including computational modelling for fluid flow, fire dynamics and evacuation as required.
Contribute to project delivery and client outcomes across markets with increasing technical, project and client responsibility.
Mentor junior team members and support project management and delivery.
