AirTrunk seeks a Principal Fire and Hydraulics Engineer to lead global fire protection and hydraulic engineering, reporting to the Senior Director, Engineering, based at North Sydney headquarters.

You will own the fire and hydraulics requirements within the Global Minimum Standards and govern OSE specifications, collaborating across Design, Development, Procurement, Construction and Operations to uphold life safety and regulatory compliance at scale.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Safety or related engineering field.
• 12+ years of experience in fire protection and hydraulics.
• Chartered engineer status preferred.
• Expertise in fire detection, suppression, and water systems.
• Experience with data centres or critical facilities.
• Leadership across multi-region portfolios.

Aufgaben

• Own and maintain fire and hydraulics requirements within GMS-E and GMS-C.
• Set technical direction for fire systems and compliance.
• Govern compliance with fire codes and insurer requirements.
• Coordinate interfaces with mechanical/electrical/controls teams.
• Provide senior technical support for site commissioning and operations.
• Communicate complex fire/hydraulic matters to executives and partners.
