Job summary

Arup Australia is seeking a senior fire engineer to deliver integrated fire safety designs across diverse projects and lead design teams. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues and clients to ensure technically excellent solutions that meet project needs.

You will also manage projects end-to-end, prepare detailed reports, and contribute to business development while upholding Arup’s values and quality standards.

Qualifications

• A relevant engineering degree (Fire Engineering or similar).
• Experience in a consulting environment with fire engineering.
• Chartered status or equivalent accreditation preferred (e.g., CPEng, NER).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality fire engineering input from concept through to completion.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders for coordinated design.
• Manage projects autonomously within timelines, budget, and financial targets.
• Prepare and review detailed technical reports and analyses.
• Support business development through fee proposals and client relationships.
