Job summary

Arup invites applications for a Fire Risk Engineer to join our Resilience, Security & Risk team. You will address major hazard risks, dangerous goods compliance, and fire safety across ANZ and APAC with a focus on risk-based engineering.

You will lead, mentor, and deliver technically excellent outcomes while expanding knowledge across Fire Risk, Dangerous Goods and Process Safety within a consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Must have engineering degree and relevant professional qualifications.
• Experience in Fire Risk, Dangerous Goods and/or Process Safety in a consulting environment.
• Knowledge of Work Health and Safety regulations.
• Membership in professional institutions is preferred.
• Chartership or progression toward it is advantageous.
• Experience performing first principles analysis and advisory services in built environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technically excellent project outcomes in fire risk and process safety.
• Develop knowledge across related risk disciplines and mentor junior engineers.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to the team and clients.
