Job summary

Arup is seeking an Associate Fire Engineer to lead complex fire safety projects and deliver technically excellent outcomes tailored to client needs. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, develop integrated designs, and contribute to business growth.

Mentoring junior engineers and producing high-quality reports will be part of your responsibilities. The role requires Chartered Fire Engineer status or equivalent, with extensive consulting experience and strong technical expertise in CFD/FDS

Qualifications

Chartered fire engineer with relevant qualifications and registrations.
Expertise in performance-based design, first principles assessments, CFD/FDS modelling.
Ability to lead multiple projects from concept to delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver complex fire engineering projects with technical leadership.
Manage projects from inception to completion within budget and schedule.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders for integrated designs.
Prepare and sign off technical reports and regulatory documentation.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to business development efforts.
