Job summary

Arup in Australia is seeking a Fire Risk Engineer to join our Risk & Process Safety team. You will apply risk-based engineering to major hazard and fire risk challenges across ANZ and APAC, contributing to safer and more resilient operations.

The role offers opportunities to mentor junior engineers, develop broader capabilities across Fire Risk, Dangerous Goods and Process Safety, and work on technically challenging projects for a diverse client base.

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering degree relevant to the discipline.
• Experience in Fire Risk, Dangerous Goods and/or Process Safety in consulting.
• Awareness of WHS regulatory requirements and professional accreditation, e.g., Chartership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technically excellent project outcomes tailored to client needs.
• Develop knowledge across Fire Risk, Dangerous Goods and Process Safety.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and technical guidance to junior engineers.
