Job summary

nbn® Australia is seeking a Senior Field Technician based in Mount Isa to install, repair and maintain copper and fibre networks for homes and businesses. You will deliver end-to-end service with a focus on customer satisfaction and work within a supportive team across diverse communities.

The role requires an ACMA license (Cert 3/4 preferred), strong communication, and readiness to travel. A customer‑centric mindset and the ability to work autonomously are essential for success.

Qualifications

• ACMA license preferred with Cert 3 or Cert 4 in telecommunications.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Autonomous, self‑starter with a can‑do attitude.
• Willingness to travel and work within 7am–7pm window.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain copper and fibre networks for homes and businesses.
• Deliver end‑to‑end service and keep customers informed while on site.
• Collaborate with field team, with coaching and career progression opportunities.
• Be the backbone keeping Australia connected in communities you serve.
