Job summary

Bechtel is delivering EPC scope for the Eva Copper Project in Queensland, Australia, with a FIFO assignment to Cloncurry on a 2:1 roster. The role focuses on non-routine cost engineering, planning and scheduling, stakeholder relations, and training delivery to synthesize project components into seamless execution.

This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (or international equivalent).
• 10–13 years of relevant experience or 14–17 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling and planning inputs from all functions for a robust schedule.
• Set up and maintain weekly quantity tracking metrics aligned to the schedule.
• Integrate interdisciplinary schedule requirements to establish logical work sequences.
• Determine activity durations with input from contractors across disciplines.
• Develop commodity release and installation curves as applicable.
• Review schedule data and complete work logics for interfaces across project.
• Identify critical paths and near-term critical path items.
• Develop and monitor short-term Lookahead schedules and perform monthly/quarterly reporting.
• Monitor schedule deviation and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare schedule commentary for monthly progress reports.
• Identify activities with schedule impact and produce Schedule Impact Reports (CIAR).
• Conduct personnel performance reviews, interview candidates, and make hiring recommendations.
