Job summary

Corrective Services NSW at Junee Correctional Centre invites applications for a Manager and Operations Lead. In this senior role you will guide a dynamic team, drive local opportunities, manufacturing and facilities maintenance, delivering high-quality, commercially viable outcomes.

You will develop education, employment and vocational pathways for inmates, manage budgets, advise on procurement and contracts, and build strong stakeholder relationships to support growth and safety.

Qualifications

• Possess relevant trade qualifications in Construction, Engineering, Building or Facilities Maintenance related industry.
• Hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Management, Project Management or Facilities Management that underpin the knowledge, capability and strategic insight required to deliver successful outcomes in this role.
• Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or willingness to complete within timeframe set out by CSNSW
• Current NSW Driver Licence and the ability and willingness to travel to locations as required

Responsibilities

• Lead a dynamic team to drive local business opportunities and facilities maintenance operations.
• Provide high-level technical and management advice on business, procurement and contracts.
• Develop and implement business development and facilities maintenance strategies.
• Manage staff performance and support professional development.
• Build stakeholder relationships to promote CSI capabilities for growth.
• Manage allocated budgets and resources to meet objectives.
