Job summary

Corrective Services NSW is seeking a Senior Psychologist/Senior Specialist Psychologist at Junee Correctional Centre. You will provide clinical leadership, influence rehabilitation outcomes and support high-quality psychological services for people in custody, mentoring staff and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance community safety.

You will work with individuals with complex mental health and forensic needs, expanding specialist expertise while contributing to rehabilitation

Qualifications

• Ability to mentor and develop junior staff in a multidisciplinary team.

• Senior Specialist Psychologist – $146,281 - $154,889 pa
• Plus environmental allowance, employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Every day, you'll provide clinical leadership that supports rehabilitation and contributes to safer communities. You'll lead high-quality psychological services, oversee complex assessments and interventions, and provide expert advice on high-risk and complex cases.

As a Senior Psychologist, you'll mentor and supervise psychologists, build workforce capability and promote evidence-based practice.

As a Senior Specialist Psychologist, you'll provide advanced clinical consultation, contribute to clinical governance and lead service improvement initiatives.
