Queensland Treasury is seeking a Senior Executive Business Support Officer to support the Head of Commercial and Transactions with confidential executive assistance and robust financial management. You will help maintain governance, budgeting and reporting processes and support senior leaders in a high-profile commercial environment.

• Knowledge of, or ability to quickly acquire, government processes, systems and networks.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-level, confidential administrative and operational support to the Head of Commercial and Transactions, regularly reviewing workflows to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate and quality-assure correspondence, including ministerial briefs and briefing material for senior executives, the Treasurer and other clients.
• Maintain and process correspondence in the Correspondence Workflow System, ensuring documentation meets Queensland Treasury standards.
• Prepare monthly branch financial reports, general journals, prepayments, monthend accruals, asset coordination and accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Provide practical financial advice to the business unit, monitor budget positions and prepare monthly and ad hoc reporting that supports ledger integrity.
• Maintain contemporary financial management, reporting and data skills, applying relevant legislation, accounting standards, government frameworks and departmental procedures.
