The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Melbourne is seeking an experienced events professional to plan, manage and deliver conferences and events from concept through post-event reporting, including on-site delivery and virtual/hybrid formats.

You will coordinate sponsorships, manage budgets, registrations, program content and stakeholder engagement while working with senior stakeholders, committees, sponsors and exhibitors to ensure high standards and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience planning, coordinating and delivering conferences and events of varying sizes, including on-site management.

Responsabilités

• Manage events from planning through on-site delivery and post-event reporting.
• Oversee sponsorship and exhibition management, budgeting, registration, program coordination, stakeholder engagement and digital platforms for in-person and virtual events.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, organising committees, suppliers and sponsors to ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery of high-standard events.
• Provide practical advice, manage competing priorities and supervise staff and volunteers; attend organising committee meetings.
• Domestic and international travel may be required to support event delivery.
