UGL Group is seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor for a solar farm and BESS project near Mount Isa. You will provide environmental support across construction activities, ensuring compliance with approvals and environmental management plans.

Reporting to the HSE Manager, this hands-on role combines field-based environmental management with reporting, audits, and stakeholder engagement. FIFO 10 days on, 4 days off with long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental compliance and reporting for construction projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work across project teams and subcontractors.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day environmental support across construction activities, ensuring compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain environmental management plans, procedures and documentation.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and environmental monitoring to identify risks and opportunities.
• Assist with environmental incidents, investigations, corrective actions and reporting.
• Collaborate with project teams to promote environmental awareness and drive improvements.
