Job summary

UGL CPB Humelink West is seeking an Environmental Advisor to provide guidance on environmental regulations and sustainability practices for the HumeLink West project. The role involves assessing potential environmental impacts, developing compliance strategies, and delivering recommendations to minimise harm on-site, with FIFO on a 10:4 roster.

Applicants should hold a tertiary qualification in Environmental Science and have at least three years' experience in civil construction environmental

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in environmental roles in the Civil Construction industry.
• Sound understanding of NSW Environmental Legislation with ability to review and interpret relevant legislation, standards and codes of practice and contractual requirements.
• Demonstrated ability in developing and interpreting project related documents, preparing reports and monitoring compliance documentation.
• Current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card) and medical assessment prior to commencement.

Responsibilities

• Providing guidance on environmental regulations and sustainability practices for projects and engineering-related companies.
• Assess potential environmental impacts, develop strategies for compliance, and minimise environmental harm on projects.
• Auditing, amending and implementing the Construction Environmental Management Plan.
• Providing sound and timely technical advice, training and assistance to the project and supporting the Environment Manager.
• Supporting the Environment Manager and design team in reviewing the Environmental Design Deliverables and sub-contractor scope developments.
