Job summary

UGL is seeking an Environmental Advisor for the HumeLink West Project in regional NSW. The role is site-based with a 10:4 FIFO roster, requiring strong knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices for civil construction. You will guide compliance, review design deliverables, and support the environment and commercial teams.

Minimum 3 years in relevant roles and a tertiary qualification in Environmental Science are essential. White Card and pre-employment checks apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant environmental experience in civil construction.
• Strong understanding of NSW environmental legislation and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on environmental regulations and sustainability practices for the project.
• Assess potential environmental impacts and develop compliance strategies.
• Audit and implement the Construction Environmental Management Plan and related documents.
• Deliver training and support to frontline leaders on environmental requirements.
• Review Environmental Design Deliverables with the design team and work packages.
• Support sub-contractor scope developments and pre-qualifications with the environment team.
