Job summary

Webuild in Australia is seeking a Senior Technical and Design Leader to guide the Buildings portfolio across multiple projects, from precontracts to delivery. You will coordinate architecture, structures, MEP, and specialist disciplines, ensuring design governance, risk management and safe, compliant outcomes.

Based in any Metro office (Perth, Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne), the role requires exceptional client-facing communication and the ability to mentor teams while aligning with project

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years' experience in engineering, design or technical management on complex buildings.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams across architecture, structures, MEP and specialist disciplines.
• Proven client and stakeholder management with strong communication.
• Chartered Professional Engineer or membership in relevant institutions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical and design leadership across complex building projects and pursuits across multiple sectors.
• Lead multidisciplinary design management ensuring integration between design, construction, commercial and procurement requirements.
• Support projects across full lifecycle from opportunity development to handover with focus on design intent and risk management.
• Lead bids and business development activities with technical strategy and client presentations.
• Establish governance, assurance, peer review and audit processes for compliant, buildable designs.
