Job summary

Webuild in Australia (comprising Clough and e2o) seeks a senior technical and design leader to oversee Clough's Buildings portfolio from precontracts to delivery. Lead multidisciplinary design teams, establish governance, and provide client-facing direction to deliver safe, compliant, buildable outcomes on complex projects.

The role demands 15+ years in engineering/design management on major buildings, Chartered status preferred, and a proven ability to coordinate architecture, structures, MEP

Qualifications

• Tertiary engineering degree (e.g., BSc Eng).
• Chartered Professional Engineer status preferred.
• 15+ years in engineering/design or technical management on complex buildings.
• Experience across aviation, health, defence, stadia, data centres or similar.
• Strong leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
• Contractor-side experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical and design leadership across complex projects.
• Lead multidisciplinary design management and governance.
• Support full lifecycle from precontracts to handover.
• Lead bids with technical strategy and client presentations.
• Manage external designers and coordinate interfaces.
• Foster collaboration across engineering, design, commercial and construction teams.
