Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Technical Director with a strong Building Services background to lead senior engineering teams on major projects in Australia. You’ll guide design delivery, drive technical excellence, manage client relationships and contribute to business development across a portfolio of landmark buildings.

Based in a hybrid model with options across Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Canberra or Adelaide, you’ll mentor multidisciplinary engineers and partner with senior leaders to grow Building

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with extensive experience in building services.
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent registrations is preferred.
• Strong track record leading technical and design teams on major Building Engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical and design leadership across major Building Engineering projects, with focus on quality, programme, budget and client outcomes.
• Lead project teams and be responsible for delivery of a portfolio of projects.
• Engage with clients to understand needs, build relationships and deliver practical engineering solutions.
• Lead design management, technical reviews and delivery across multidisciplinary teams.
• Support business development and work winning through client engagement and proposals.
