Job summary
Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead investigations into power system security and to develop practical solutions for higher renewable integration in the National Electricity Market.
Based in any Australian capital city, you will mentor engineers, collaborate with industry experts and stakeholders, and help shape the design and operation of Australia's power system within the Future Energy Systems team.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering with power systems focus.
- Experience with NEM preferred and power system analysis.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to deliver multi-disciplinary projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead studies and investigations into power system security and stability challenges.
- Perform advanced power system modelling and simulations.
- Develop engineering solutions for reliable renewables integration.
