Job summary

Nu Quantum Ltd is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to lead high-performance analogue and mixed-signal circuitry development for quantum networking hardware. You will work with mechanical, software, FPGA, optics, nanofabrication, and physics teams from concept through lab testing to deployment of prototype systems.

You’ll architect and build novel electronics, run hands-on experiments, and help translate ambitious specifications into scalable, reliable prototypes for fast delivery with

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in electronics, physics or related field.
• Experience in analogue electronic design.
• Experience with PCB design tools including manufacture and reliability.
• Understanding of high-frequency and RF circuit design fundamentals.
• Ability to perform hands-on testing with oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and test prototype electronic systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, FPGA, optics and physics teams.
• Create high-quality schematics, system designs and PCB layouts.
• Organise prototype manufacture and lab testing.
• Analyze experimental results and data to guide development.
• Support internal use of electronic systems across the company.
• Contribute to project planning on timescales and cost.
