Zusammenfassung

Nu Quantum Ltd. is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to lead high-performance analogue and mixed-signal electronics for quantum networking hardware. You will collaborate with mechanical, software, FPGA, optics and physics teams, developing concepts through lab-tested prototypes and deployment.

The role involves design, build, and validation in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment. You’ll architect novel electronics, contribute to specifications, and help plan timescales and budgets

Qualifikationen

• Degree-level qualification in electronics, physics or other closely-related subject
• Industry experience in analogue electronic design
• Experience with PCB design tools, including design for manufacture and reliability
• Understanding of high-frequency and RF circuit design fundamentals
• Ability to perform hands-on testing and experimentation using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and similar equipment.
• Knowledge of sound engineering design processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate and be a great team player, working with multidisciplinary teams to meet demanding specifications

Aufgaben

• Liaising with team members from many technical and business disciplines, to agree requirements and specifications for electronics systems.
• Carrying out design calculations and simulations, and selecting suitable components and equipment.
• Producing high-quality electronic schematics, system designs and PCB layouts.
• Organising the manufacture of prototypes.
• Hands-on testing, debugging and improving of complex electronic and optical setups.
• Analysis of experimental results and data.
• Supporting the use of electronic systems throughout the company.
• Supporting wider business plans by providing input on project timescales, complexity and cost.
